A viral clip shows a bloke painting an entire wall in just 30 seconds, leaving TikTokers seriously impressed by his DIY tekkers.

Painting is one of those tedious DIY tasks that takes most of us the best part of a day - however small the area you need to transform.

But one man has shown us how it doesn't need to be that way, having been filmed painting an entire wall in a matter of seconds, swiping the long-handled roller over the surface with confidence and speed.

The clip was shared on TIkTok by a user called @angela_j_official, who captioned the video: "How on earth is this even possible?"

The footage shows the unnamed man painting over a yellow wall with a paler colour - I'm not going to get into the debate of whether it's off-white or some elaborately named shade of grey...

He starts off with a large zig-zag pattern that spans the length of the wall, before he returns to fill in the gaps, in turn completing the whole thing in no time at all.

Many fellow TikTok users were equally impressed by the technique, with one commenting: "I'll pay him by the hour lol."

Someone else asked: "Do you want to come and do my hallway, stairs and landing please?"

A third even offered up a bit of insider knowledge writing: "My hubby paints like this. It's just a soaked roller with a lot of strength so the paint doesn't stick to the roller when rolling."

TikTok is home to various life hacks - some arguably of greater use than others.

One user once shared a video showing an alternative way to wear a dressing gown, promising others that they'll 'never wear one the same again'.

Meanwhile, another woman recently shared a way to remove spilt paint on the carpet, promising that all you need is 'hot water'.

She said: "Scrape it up in the beginning - all the excess - and then you pour hot water on it and you vacuum it with a ShopVac and look at this... it looks brand new."

Another TikToker showed us how we can cook vegetables in the dishwasher, while a McDonald's fan gave us a nifty tip-off about car holders for your sauces for spillage-free dunking and dipping.
