An eerie video shows a 'guardian angel' touching a man's arm to alert of of oncoming danger, in the process saving his life, before disappearing into thin air. What do you make of it? Watch here:
The footage was taken on a CCTV camera back in 2019, and it shows Serdar Binici'yi, a shop manager in Turkey, standing by the road in front of his store.
Out of nowhere, a stranger appears to walk past him, tapping him on the shoulder.
Serdar looks behind him, the tap on his shoulder clearly grabbing his attention.
As he looks to see who had tapped him, he notices a big white lorry heading towards him.
Getting slightly too close to him, it just looks like a bit of a near miss, but then out of a nowhere, a huge metal gate swings straight in front of Serdar.
It almost hits his face, and looks to be mere millimetres away from him. If it hit him, there's no doubt it would have caused him to be significantly injured.
The stunned shopkeeper is visibly shocked at the near miss. He looks around, presumably looking for the mystery man, but he had disappeared.
The Daily Star reported at the time that the driver of the lorry returned to the shop, in the Tellidere Mahallesi district of Turkey, to apologise for what happened.
The video, which has reappeared on Reddit in the last few days, never ceases to amaze people. As far as an explanation goes, there doesn't seem to be one so far - even Reddit users still seem amazed by it.
One person wrote: "Kind of weird how the guy who taps the shoulder has a very blurry face, but as for the other guy (who gets the shoulder tapped) I can definitely see his facial features. This video creeps me out."
Another theorised: "Plot twist - it's the same man who travelled back in time to save himself from dying."
Someone else added: "He's definitely an angel in disguise."
But others found a certain aspect of the video interested, with one writing: "What I find weird besides the story that goes with this is he was tapped on his left shoulder.
"Normally when someone taps your shoulder you look in that direction, before your brain processes any words, so why did he immediately look the other way?"
Another commented: "Can't get over how the guy turns the wrong way.
"He gets tapped on his left shoulder and turns right, making me think the shoulder tapper did say something like 'watch your back'."
