If you've been on TikTok recently, you might have noticed a guy called Francis Bourgeois popping up in your trending feed.
He's the train enthusiast of the digital age and here are a few things we know about him.
Francis hails from Harlesden, North West London and when he's not creating TikTok videos at train platforms, he's studying engineering at the University of Nottingham.
According to The Sun, Francis started trainspotting while he was at school (despite being mocked by his peers) and during lockdown, he started to make TikTok videos about his hobby.
Francis has amassed more than 948,000 followers on the platform, where fans go to see him spotting trains and commentating. Francis is known for the unique camera angles he has in his videos, which he achieves using his GoPro camera. You can see in the video below.
You can follow Francis on TikTok at @francis.bourgeois.
All numbers correct as of November 2021.
Francis' earnings and net worth aren't verified anywhere.
Francis does have a Cameo account though and charges £26 for a personal use booking on the site and with his social media following, it's likely he can earn money as an influencer.
According to reports, Francis is 21-years-old, but his date of birth isn't known.
As Francis doesn't really share his personal life on social media (beyond his trainspotting hobby), we can't confirm whether he's in a relationship with anybody at the moment. It goes without saying that whoever he dates, they'll need to like trains!
Here are a few interesting things to know about the TikTok trainspotter.
In October 2021, Francis appeared on This Morning and said his interest in trains developed at the age of four. He would often went to Willesdon Junction train station to watch the trains pass by.
He would come home and draw pictures of them from memory.
He explained: "I was just fixated by these big machines.
"Ever since, I've had a passion for trains, cars, planes."
He now endeavours to pursue a career in railway engineering after his success on the social platform.
"I love to show how awesome trains can be as well as trying to make you smile, laugh and just try and bring joy," he said.
"I want to contribute my passion for trains and also engineering to make the railway network a better place for everyone."
Francis owns a 1980s train worker's uniform and wears it with pride in some of his videos. You can see it in the picture below.
Some fans have accused Francis of not being genuine about his train enthusiasm. He's since responded to the accusations by sharing a photo of himself as a young boy in a train uniform, surrounded by toy trains, and said: "I love to show how awesome trains can be as well as trying to make you smile, laugh and just try and bring joy."
