Woman's Zoom Call Interrupted By Squirrels Having Sex

We've all become used to interruptions during Zoom calls but this one is bit unusual

A woman had her work Zoom call interrupted by a couple of amorous squirrels who were getting it on right outside her window.

Alex Double, a pub trainer, was taking part in an important work video call earlier this month, when the squirrels caught her eye.

The 35-year-old whipped out her camera and filmed the fluffy lovers before sharing the clip online.

Posting the clip on Facebook, Alex wrote: "Very distracted during my Zoom call yesterday."

The video has been viewed thousands of times and has been a hit with social media users.

One person commented: "That squirrel is getting some serious nuts."

While a second joked: "When the squirrels have a more interesting life than you."

Another wrote: "No lie, I would have spun the camera and shared this with the meeting.

"I don't care how important that meeting is - this content must be shared with the world."

Speaking after her clip went viral, Alex added: "I was sitting at my desk in a Zoom meeting.

"These two are always running along the fence by the window.

"They jumped on the window and started s******. I was amused, thought ha, I'm gonna get a snap of that, thinking for sure they'd jump away as soon as I reached for my phone.

"But as you can see they weren't camera shy!"

Of course, Alex isn't the only way to have their Zoom call derailed by something in the background.

Earlier this year, Yvette Amos went viral after she appeared on BBC Wales Today with a sex toy on one of her shelves in the background.

Awkward.

Yvette appeared on the show to talk about people being 'passed over' for jobs as a result of the pandemic, but all eyes were trained on the top shelf of the bookcase behind her.

After spotting the sex toy, viewers flocked to Twitter, where one person wrote: "This lady has just been live on BBC Wales News. I think she should maybe have checked her top shelf first!"

Someone else joked: "Doing our country proud... damehood pending."

Another tweeted Yvette to say: "Please say it was a dare?"

It does appear that the whole thing might have been a joke. If you look further at the image, beyond the large sex toy, you'll see that there is also a pair of bloody handprints on the door behind her.
