Pizza Hut Is Launching A New Vegan Stuffed Crust Pizza

Following countless requests, Pizza Hut Restaurants has launched the new Vegan Stuffed Crust - developed using Violife's vegan alternative to cheese.

The new menu addition, available across the nation tomorrow (26 February), follows the success of the Vegan Pepperoni Pizza: The Pepperphoni. It was launched in January and resulted in nearly 40,000 vegan pizzas sold within the month alone.

Ensuring the right amount of Violife's gooey dairy-free cheese is encased in the crust, this vegan option is the perfect alternative to the nation's much loved treat. Since inventing the stuffed crust concept 25 years ago, Pizza Hut Restaurants sells an average of 1.6 million a year.

Pizza Hut Restaurants' vegan options are available to dine-in and take-out at every restaurant in England, Scotland and Wales, and for delivery from selected Pizza Hut Restaurants on Deliveroo and Uber Eats from tomorrow.

Ciara Grace, Senior Menu Innovation Manager at Pizza Hut Restaurants, said of the launch: "We're always looking into new and exciting ways to develop our menu and cater to as many guests as possible.

"The Vegan Stuffed Crust was naturally the next step for us to grow our plant-based offering at Pizza Hut Restaurants. We're really excited to launch the Vegan Stuffed Crust as we're confident it's going to be a hit on both taste and texture."

Simon Orchard, UK & Ireland Country Manager, added: "The stuffed crust pizza has been a firm favourite for 25 years, and Violife are excited to be partnering with Pizza Hut to make a vegan version a reality.

"We can't wait for customers to try the deliciously melty new stuffed crust, and help continue to show people that's it's never been easier to go dairy-free."

Celebrating the new vegan offering and Pizza Hut's 25 years of Stuffed Crust, guests will be automatically entered into a competition to win a £100 gift card, by simply posting their Stuffed Crust Pizza pics to Instagram using the hashtag #GetStuffedCrust and tagging @PizzaHutUK.

The Vegan Stuffed Crust option, featuring Violife, is available with an Individual Pizza for a £2.50 add on cost.
