Jeremy Clarkson has taken to Twitter to show off his own contribution to the worldwide phenomenon that is the Kiki Challenge, as Drake releases the official video to the single that sparked the craze. The result? Oh, well... see for yourself:

Otherwise known as the #InMyFeelings challenge, it most commonly involves drivers jumping out of their cars and dancing to Drake's song 'In My Feelings' while their car is still moving - all while being filmed by someone in the passenger seat.

And if people aren't doing the challenge from their cars they're doing it in evermore adventurous locations - often with unsurprisingly bad consequences.

In one failed attempt at the challenge, a man is seen getting hit by a car (fortunately, he's okay) while in another a lady drops her purse as she dances alongside her car, only for a pair of opportunistic thieves to rock up on a bike, grab it and ride off with it.

As you might expect, Jeremy didn't quite hit the nail on the head with his version.

Although he captioned his tweeted video with the now unavoidable lyrics from the song ('Kiki do you love me?') his take on the dance involved performing in what appears to be his own home - or perhaps a hotel foyer - while dressed in a T-shirt and a pair of pants.

But it has to be said, he absolutely nails the 'shoot' - a dance move that originated with Tennessee rapper BlocBoy JB that blew up after he featured on Drake's track 'Look Alive'.

The Kiki challenge has become one of the biggest fads of 2018 with a number of stars getting involved, including Will Smith and American singer Ciara. We can only presume Jeremy felt put out not being involved.

And now Drake has released the video to the single, wholly embracing the dance craze. Predictably, the video has accumulated over 40 million views in just over 24 hours.

In it, Drake is shown outside Kiki's house (played by La La Anthony) before being shooed away by her mother, played by The Cosby Show actor Phylicia Rashad.

He then dances around the streets of New Orleans with Internet comedian Shiggy (Shaquille Mitchell).

Waking up in a studio later in the video, having apparently dreamt the whole thing, Drake says: "I just had a dream that I made some song, about some girl, I was in New Orleans, with this grill [gold tooth jewellery] in my mouth.

"And then this kid from New York that spits when he talks all the time did some dance to it and then the world did the dance and Will Smith was there."

The end of the video features a montage of celebrities who have taken up the challenge, including Millie Bobby Brown and DJ Khaled - but, astoundingly, not Jeremy Clarkson.
