Man accidentally finds old sticker in his ear that had been lurking for years
| Last updated
A bloke found a ‘years’ old sticker from an apple hidden away inside his ear. Anyone else have some serious questions?
TikToker @ellislloydjones bought himself a nifty little device online that cleans ear wax and - for some odd reason - also has a camera, meaning he could take a deep dive into his own head to find out what was lurking within.
He says in the video: "I bought this a while back [...] it's like one of those scoopy-out things for your ears to get the wax out and it's also got a camera in there with a light.
"So I've been going at it just to see what's inside my ears and what I can get out, you see the usual wax, hairs and stuff like that. But I found something which I don't think you should find in your ear."
As we get a good look inside his ear, something white is quite clearly visible in shot.
"That white thing, that white thing there," he says.
"I'm there trying to pick at it, see if I can scoop it out but it's just not budging."
He finally manages to dislodge it to reveal that it was a sticker from a Gala apple from God knows when - even Ellis admitted that it could have been tucked away in there for years.
"So this has been stuck in my ear for years," he concluded. Lovely.
You probably will not be surprised to learn that TikTok users were left taken aback by the clip, while others were just full of questions.
One person wrote: "I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WAS EXPECTING. BUT IT DEFFO WASN'T THAT."
Another said: "How did it stay in for so long?"
A third added: "WE NEED TO KNOW… Has your hearing improved??!?!?"
Others explained that when they first saw the video, they thought he had 'pulled out his ear drum'.
"I genuinely thought you just scooped out your ear drum, that was a roller coaster of emotions," one wrote.
While another said: "I legit thought it was your eardrum and you were gonna be in all kinds of pain."
Others shared their own similar experiences, with one woman explaining she had discovered three earring backs inside her ear.
"I do this at work - once removed a Monopoly piece from someone’s ear. She hadn’t played Monopoly in 10 years," wrote another.
