Lad's Brother Hired Secretary To Talk For Him In The Family Group Chat

Ah, the family WhatsApp, where everyone's involved in a seemingly endless barrage of messages about anything and everything. Zach Yaqub's brother has found the solution though - he simply let his secretary pass messages back and forth. Here's a snippet of the chat:

The conversation begins with their dad writing: "Zain if u respond to family text in next 2 minutes I will PayPal u two dollars."

It's no wonder the guy's got money for a secretary, getting paid just to reply to his relatives.

Also, let's quickly address the 75 unread messages that Zach's got. Come on, dude.

Anyway, in response to his dad, Ian replies (from Zain's mobile) with: "Sorry this is Ian, I will relay this message to Zain and get back to your when he responds."

Zach then chimes in, writing: "No way that's Acc [actually] some kid named Ian."

Ian then responds again, saying: "Hello, yes this is Ian, I am Zain's secretary at advisor appointments."

He adds: "Zain is currently busy but I will relay your messages to him and respond shortly, thank you for your patience."

In disbelief, Zach then replies: "NO F***** WAY HE HIRED U TO MESSAGE IN FAMILY GROUPCHAT HAHAHAHAHAHAHA."

Ever the professional, Ian says: "Hello everyone, thank you for your messages, I have passed them along to Zain and he will respond to you at his earliest convenience. Thank you."

Zach later posted a screen recording of the chat to his TikTok account, with the caption: "POV: Your brother hires a secretary to talk for him in family groupchat."

Replying to the clip on the video-sharing platform, one person suggested: "Start inviting the secretary to family events instead of Zain."

HE'S CALLED IAN.

The brothers' dad Amer later commented in response to those doubting Ian's existence. He wrote: "I can one hundred percent confirm that Ian exists I have been on a Zoom with him a month ago."

Another person who's been in a similar boat commented: "When I lived in west LA I did this for my boss. And unpacked her groceries in her house. The things I did for money."

For many more, it was a chance to let the guys know they've been eyeing up Zain. One wrote: "Send your brother my way or tell Ian to do it."
