Woman Threatening To Divorce Her Husband After He Covered Kitchen In Christmas Wrapping Paper

This certainly didn't go down well with Nicola.

Christmas is supposed to be a time for family, for fun, for eating and for love. Every year, you'll know doubt have to go out and buy presents for the whole family and then package it in a nice way before putting it under the tree.

If you're anything like my family, you'll have loads of Christmas wrapping paper so that no one is left without anything to wrap their presents in.

Well, one cheeky husband had other ideas for the wrapping paper in his household. Carl Mullen-King decided to cover his kitchen and everything in it, much to his wife's dismay.

When Nichola came home to find the walls, stove, even the fruit in the bowl wrapped up (in a very nice style if we might add), she was not happy.

She took to Facebook to vent her frustrations, writing: "My arsehole of a husband came up with the bright idea for us to wrap part of the kitchen for elf on the shelf...

"[Two] hours later and a divorce on the cards, it's done including the fruit, eggs, utensils and chopping board.

"Idiot even plugged the air freshener back in."

When it comes to pranks, this is pretty brilliant.

The post on social media went absolutely ballistic and has been liked, shared and commented on by tens of thousands of people.

We've all seen this prank before: either it's someone's car or their desk or their room, which has been left alone for far too long and cheeky friends or loved ones decide to cover it in cling film or aluminium foil or, in this case, wrapping paper.

But it's a massive commitment to undertake because it's not easy to deck a whole room from head to toe in one material.
