A woman has shared the brutal messages her 91-year-old granddad sends her - and he does not pull any punches, you can have a read of them here:

Megan Elizabeth, or @meganelizabeth1016 as she's known on TikTok, shared a selection of some of her granddad's most cutting texts, including one in which he warns her that she's in danger of dying alone. Lovely.

Posting the humorous exchanges on TikTok, Megan wrote: "Texting my 91-year-old grandpa be like...."

Before the video cuts to a text that reads: "This is grandpa. I read an article that said if you do not find a life partner by 29, you most likely die alone.

"Your birthday is coming up in three months. Just wanted to let you know. Love, grandpa."

In response, Megan shot back a quick 'thanks' - well, what else can you say?

In another text her granddad writes: "Megan, this is grandpa. I hope you are keeping the weight you lost off. Remember, heart disease runs in our family. Love, grandpa."

While a third reads: "Hi Megan, this is your grandpa.

"I hope you aren't drinking a lot. I saw on the news that alcohol sales are sky-high because millennials are depressed. Love you always, grandpa."

Megan's followers absolutely loved the interactions, with one person writing: "Grandpa is adorably offensive and I can tell you're his favourite."

Defending the OAP, another commented: "Awww he thinks about you all the time - so cute!"

While someone else said: "I'm sorry but this is hilarious and cute all at the same time."

Responding to one comment Megan confirmed that she wasn't at all offended by her granddad's blunt messages and said they were 'best friends'.

And it's not just granddad's who have no chill when it comes to sending texts - last year, a bloke shared the harsh line of questioning he received from his mum.

Adem Waterman, who lives in London, was asked by his mother whether she should address his Christmas card to him and his boyfriend, or just him.

However, when he replied that he doesn't have a partner, she asked him: "Do you think it's your personality or looks?"

Yikes, easy mama.
