Man Catches Ghost Child And Its Pet On CCTV Footage

A home security camera has picked up what some believe to be the ghost of a small boy and his pet.

In the footage, all seems fine in the living room - a cat is chilling in the middle - when suddenly, a misty outline appears to the bottom right hand corner and starts to move around, up and down the stairs.

Joey Nolan, a digital consultant from Long Island, NY, saw the footage on his CCTV and says that people have started suggesting it looks like a child and what seems to be a pet dog playing together.

The 33-year-old said that the creepy goings on started a few weeks before the footage was filmed, when he had a dream that he and his wife got their daughter a pet puppy - and it turned out that they both had the same dream.

Speaking to LADbible, Joey said: "About a week later, after she had caught the 'apparition' on camera, I figured the spirit of a dog must have hopped into bed with us the night we had the dreams.

"Outside of that, it's the typical 'thought I heard/saw something'."

I would definitely be on edge about being in the house on my own, but Joey says he and his wife have gotten used to the idea of sharing their home with a spirit.

Joey continued: "We're comfortable about being home alone. At first it was kind of sketchy, but we've attempted to open a line of communication, just in case it is a spirit. We have an 'our house is your house' kinda approach to the situation, as long as it stays pleasant, we're not trying to involve the church."

Although, he did say that the family would consider leaving the house if anything more sinister started happening.

"If we started experiencing anything unpleasant, it might be time for us to up and leave. If our 19-month-old daughter started communicating with it, we might use her as an interpreter for a bit, but if it got to the point of dangerous or inappropriate, we may have to seek some intervention or get the heck out of there.

"From the feedback we're getting, it's just a child and their pet and they seem like pretty chill company, so no need to rush to conclusions and ask them to move out just yet."

It seems as though Joey may even have an explanation for the spooky sighting.

"My mother recently reminded me that my grandfather had passed on 8 August 1999... 20 years ago to the date of the occurrence.

"Now we're thinking that it could just be a young version of Gramps visiting our daughter."

That makes for a way more comforting conclusion.
