A man who transformed himself into a 'black alien' and had his nose and upper lip surgically removed has spoken out about the struggles he faces when it comes to talking.

Anthony Loffredo, 32, had his nose removed in Spain because the procedure is illegal in France (we can't understand why).

In an Instagram live, the Frenchman explained he now struggles to speak after having his top lip removed, but it clearly hasn't resulted in him wanting to slow down on his body modification path.

Instead, it's only left him eager for more - telling followers he dreams of replacing his skin with metal.

He has also said that his arms, legs, fingers and the back of his head will be the next parts he will have modified.

When Loffredo gave his nose the chop, he headed over to Oscar Marquez's studio for a 'rhinotomy', or in other words, a nose amputation.

Sharing his results, he wrote: "Like in a dream... I live this dream... Thank you to you @oscarmarquezbodymod you will have marked my life... now I can walk with my head high thanks to you, I am proud of what we did together."

As you can plainly see, the latest body modification isn't out of character. He's also had both ears removed, tattooed his eyes black, had dermal implants put in his face and had his tongue split in two.

Whatever you make of it, if his mission is to look like a black alien, then he is certainly succeeding.

Explaining why he embarked on the project, he told French newspaper Midi Libre in 2017: "From a very young age, I have been passionate about mutations and transformations of the human body.

"I had a click when I was a security guard. I realised that I was not living my life the way I wanted. I stopped everything at 24 and left for Australia.

"It has become normal, even unconscious, to constantly think about my plans for the next few months. I love getting into the shoes of a scary character."

Each to their own and all that.
