A mother has learned that her husband's mistress was also in hospital giving birth at the same time as she was in a bizarre video shared by the midwife.
OK, so this whole thing comes from a Reddit page that advertises itself as containing "trashy stories, trashy glamour, all things fake, plastic and downright trashy" but let's not let that get in the way of a decent story, right?
It seems legit enough, and there's a video of the midwife in question, anyway.
So, what appears to have happened is that the midwife managed to film the moment that the woman who was in the hospital giving birth learned that her husband had been playing away with another woman, and - by an extreme quirk of circumstance - that woman was also in the hospital giving birth at the exact same time.
The miracle of birth is supposed to be the most special - and traumatic - times in any person's life.
The bringing into the world of another young human being is a moment to celebrate and cherish, but it doesn't seem as if this woman will look back too fondly on her delivery, as it's been completely ruined by her husband's infidelity.
It's unlikely that he'll remember the event fondly either, but he seems to have only himself to blame for that.
The health care worker who was forced to witness this managed to film a video, but it's really short and sweary, so let's just go through what happened.
Basically, the midwife was sat nearby and captured the moment that the wife found out that her man had been cheating on her.
Like every diligent health worker would - of course, this is not true - she started filming, before sharing it on Reddit.
She then captioned it: "When the laboring mom finds out her man's side chick is also here in labor."
It's worth remembering to take everything you read on Reddit - and the internet in general - with a pinch of salt, but it seems to be a genuine encounter.
The midwife slowly becomes more shocked as the conversation escalates, and her face says more than the garbled conversation between the warring partners ever could.
After it was shared, it received more than 82,000 reactions and 4,100 comments.
One person said: "I wouldn't even know what to do as a nurse in this scenario"
A fellow nurse responded: "As a nurse, I can confirm this. If we can't deescalate the situation verbally, then all we can do is call security and watch."
A third added: "I feel so bad for her. You find out your SO[Significant other] is a complete scum bag while in the process of birthing your child with him."
Yep, that's gotta suck.
