You is returning to Netflix for a third season this weekend and fans are buzzing.

The psychological thriller series sees Penn Badgley star as the dangerously charming, intensely obsessive young man, Joe Goldberg, who goes to extreme measures to insert himself into the lives of those he is transfixed by. But during season two, we learn that his wife, Love Quinn ((Victoria Pedretti), carries secrets just as dark (here's a quick recap of season one and two if you need a reminder).

Season three promises more shocking moments than ever before as Joe sets out to turn his life around, determined for his son, Henry, not to become like him. He and Love move to a new town to make a fresh start and they're determined to keep up the friendly neighbours next door image, while trying to put their pasts behind them.

But as Love is said to become an increasingly destructive character as she struggles to fit in with her new community, will Joe be able to keep up the image?

The teaser for the third season was dropped in August and a trailer, which includes a recap of the first two seasons, is below:

You season 3 release date and time

You season three drops on Netflix on Friday 15th October 2021 at 8am BST and 12am (midnight) in the US.

How many episodes of You season 3 are there?

There are ten episodes in season three, all of which are upto an hour long, so that's plenty to keep you going.

Meanwhile, season four has already been confirmed, so hopefully the producers jump on that straight away.

Will the episodes all be released at once?

Good news binge-watchers - all episodes of the third season of You will be released at once. The episodes are upto an hour each, so that's your weekend sorted.
