Millennials Are Calling Sandra Bullock 'That Lady From Bird Box'

Millennials Are Calling Sandra Bullock 'That Lady From Bird Box'

Youngsters, that have been brought up in the 'Netflix and chill' era, are unaware of the Oscar winner's existence and it's a sad time

She was won the Academy Award for 'Best Actress', Golden Globe Award for 'Best Actress' and Screen Actors Guild Award for 'Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role' for her portrayal of Leigh Anne Tuohy inThe Blind Side.

She starred as Gracie Hart - bad ass cop turned undercover beauty pageant contestant 'Grace Lou Freebush' in Miss Congeniality and portrays a Canadian executive facing deportation in The Proposal alongside Ryan Reynolds.

Sandra Bullock is a fucking hit. She's done drama, crime, thriller, rom-com, action - you name it. Now she's added Bird Box to the never ending list but some people still don't know who she is. WTF.

And it's not only that young Netflix viewers don't know who she is - they're literally calling her 'that lady from Bird Box' how dare they?

Of course, these are the kids that don't remember the likes of Speed, While You Were Sleeping and Demolition Man either. Such a shame.

One commented on Twitter: "Is it just me that things the lady from 'Bird Box' looks like Michael Jackson," so they remember Michael Jackson and not Sandra Bullock?!

Another added: "That lady from Bird Box looks like that lady from Miss Congeniality." Gotta be shitting me here, this is tragic.

Real fans of the actress have hit back:

Another added: "She also didn't take care of Michael the football player and take him in as her own for y'all to have her known as the lady from Bird Box."

We are so there for all these comments.

Bird Box follows Malorie (Sandra Bullock) and a pair of children called 'Boy' and 'Girl' as they attempt to make it through a forest and river blindfolded to avoid a mysterious force which causes people who see them to die by suicide.

It's been dubbed the most 'terrifying' film - so, with that in mind I think I'll watch Miss Congeniality tonight instead.
