‘Most disturbing’ film of 2023 added to UK streaming service for free

It's now streaming free for members but probably isn't one for the family on Christmas day

The ‘most disturbing’ film of 2023 is now available to watch for free on a UK streaming service.

I mean, it’s been quite the year for big films from Barbie to Oppenheimer.

And more recently, we had a movie sending viewers home stunned and waking up in ‘cold sweats’.

From naked dance numbers and a character humping a cemetery, there was also that scene with Barry Keoghan ‘drinking’ Jacob Elordi’s ‘c*m’.

Yeah, I’m talking about Saltburn. Watch the trailer for the R-rated film here:

Only released in cinemas last month, it also stars Richard E. Grant and Rosamund Pike.

The synopsis for Saltburn reads: “Academy Award winning filmmaker Emerald Fennell brings us a beautifully wicked tale of privilege and desire.

“Struggling to find his place at Oxford University, student Oliver Quick (Keoghan) finds himself drawn into the world of the charming and aristocratic Felix Catton (Elordi), who invites him to Saltburn, his eccentric family’s sprawling estate, for a summer never to be forgotten.”

And now you can watch the black comedy psychological thriller from the safety of your home as it’s streaming on Amazon Prime Video. So, if you’re a Prime member, you can watch it for free.

The erotic, nudity-filled and well, generally wild film has received a mixed reception, but it's sitting on the Tomatometer with a decent 72 percent from critics. The Rotten Tomatoes audience score is also a decent 79 percent.

Users shared their absolute shock on TikTok as they wrote: “I saw it today and I don’t remember what life was like before Saltburn.”

Another even put: “I woke up in a cold sweat the morning after seeing Saltburn.”

Others warned viewers will ‘never look at Barry the same again’ as one wrote: “When I tell you I could not pick my jaw up.”

And one also said: “So many things in that movie are permanently cemented into my head.”

Unprepared viewers are left stunned.

Elordi previously spoke to Variety about that semen scene as he said: “I was like, ‘Thank God, it’s mine.’ I was very proud. I was very proud to have Barry Keoghan guzzling it like that.”

And Keoghan kept up the joke in his response: “He doesn’t text me back or ring me back.

“It’s so weird. He’s pretending to like me. It’s weird, man.”

Well, perhaps it’s a good thing that you can watch Saltburn at home – but take this as your warning before you innocently pop it on with your parents.
