Sometimes daytime TV can dish out some corkers and today's episode of Tipping Point was no exception.
The contestant was asked a question about Homer. No, not Simpson, but the Greek poet Homer and his answer was absolutely class.
Ben Shephard, the ITV show's host, put the question to Dom, the contestant, which reads: "In his epic poems, Homer often refers to nectar as the drink of the gods and which other substance as their food?"

Like many of us*, upon hearing the word 'Homer', Dom's mind went immediately to the lazy yellow character in The Simpsons.
*Don't deny it.
Replying to Ben, he confidently said: "I know he likes doughnuts. I think I'll go with..."
He then proceeded to take a quick pause as if second guessing his own incredible answer, before continuing: "Doughnuts please Ben."
In the way that many epic TV moments usually go, the answer was in Twitter within minutes and people were commenting on what the contestant had said.

Others couldn't get enough of Ben Shephard's reaction to the answer with many asking how the presenter keeps his face straight.
I think we can all agree that he really, really didn't.
On Twitter, one person wrote: "I literally can't breathe. That Homer gaffe is the funniest thing I've ever witnessed on #tippingpoint."

Another added: "Got to admit Donuts was one of my favourite answers out of all stupid ones I've heard on #tippingpoint."
And a third commenter: "Classic #TippingPoint moment as Homer the Poet is confused with Homer Simpson. Apparently, alongside nectar, doughnuts are the food of the Gods."
Someone else said: "Homer must have written his epic poems in one of the later episodes, I stopped watching after season 14 #TippingPoint."
If anyone's still sat here scratching their heads trying to figure the answer: It's ambrosia.

NOT THE CUSTARD, DOM.
It's apparently a dessert made with oranges and shredded coconut. If you haven't already realised, I'd have probably said doughnuts, too.
