I'll tell you what, 2018 is shaping up to be a properly weird year already, we're not even two weeks in and we've already had a fella burning his house down to kill a spider, a warning about how men are going to be obsolete thanks to sex robots and snow fall in the Sahara Desert.
Now to add to the bizarreness is this innocent throwback picture of 'She Bangs' singer Ricky Martin:
Nothing wrong with that, we all like a celebrity throwback, don't we? It's good to see what the famous faces looked like before they were famous.
Except this snap caused a bit of a stir, because a bunch of people thought it was Kendall Jenner. See, I told you 2018 was weird.
Instagram account 90s.coma shared the photo of Ricky with the caption: "Young Ricky Martin, Puerto Rico, 80s." I don't think we needed the caption to know what decade the picture was taken, do you? It's the most 80s thing I've ever seen in my life. Look at those glasses. Check out that jacket.
Anyway, no one seemed to care about the dodgy fashions, because commenters were quick to point out the similarities to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star Kendall.
One wrote: "I thought that was Kendall Jenner!!" Another asked: "Kendall Jenner?" I can't quite imagine how Kendall would feel being compared to a teenage Ricky Martin, but we can probably safely assume she wouldn't love it.
I don't know if I can see the similarities myself, but it's quite funny to take the piss out of rich people, isn't it?
Of course, not all celebrity lookalikes have to be as weird as this one. A woman from the UK has gone viral recently for her uncanny likeness of Cheryl Tweedy. I mean, seriously, this is fucking unreal. Check it out:
Sian Teesdale, from Swansea, Wales, sent a photo of herself into This Morning after the hosts asked for celeb lookalikes, and she clearly wins, doesn't she? I can't get my head around it.
Sian told LADbible: "I really don't live my life thinking I look like her. It's just what I get told from the public."
Yes, Sian, because you're her bloody double.Featured Image Credit: PA
