Depending on who you ask, masturbation is either a healthy way to relieve stress and seminal fluid or a sinful, shameful thing. There are plenty of ways to do it and some people have some very interesting methods; but there are also a few scenarios where it can do more harm than good.
Worrying figures have risen from Germany, showing figures of up to 100 men dying while masturbating, every year .
But before you throw away those socks and put yourself on the #NoFap list, there is more to it than kicking the bucket while pleasuring yourself. You see, these men who died were doing other things that ultimately led to their premature passing.
One bloke in Hamburg was wearing a diving suit, had a plastic bag over his head, and was sitting next to a heater trying to melt slices of cheese on his body. It's not clear whether he died from asphyxiation from the plastic bag or something else.
Another bloke was electrocuted to death after using Christmas lights to stimulate parts of his body.

Forensic examiner Harald Voß told the Local one of the most difficult aspects of these deaths is that friends or relatives are often faced with discovering the bodies in these compromising positions and try to remove some of the evidence before emergency services arrive.
He said: "Relatives who find the dead body sometimes remove things because the shame is so great."
Mr Voß admitted that some of the deaths are accidental, adding: "Losing consciousness can happen quicker than people think."
Erotic asphyxiation is deliberately restricting your access to oxygen in order to get a better climax. In The Relativity of Deviance, Eastern Kentucky University professor John Curra wrote: "The carotid arteries (on either side of the neck) carry oxygen-rich blood from the heart to the brain.

"When these are compressed, as in strangulation or hanging, the sudden loss of oxygen to the brain and the accumulation of carbon dioxide can increase feelings of giddiness, light-headedness, and pleasure, all of which will heighten masturbatory sensations."
Other experts say people who go down this route of pleasure can often experience a semi-hallucinogenic, lucid state which, when orgasming, can equate to the sensation of taking cocaine.
However, the number of men dying from this method of masturbation should be enough to keep people away from trying it. Orgasms are already good enough - you don't want to accidentally die and have someone close to you discover you in that type of position.
