The Matrix actor is known as one of Hollywood's good guys, and a clip from a 1994 interview on The Big Breakfast only bolsters his reputation.

In the video - which was recently shared on TikTok - Keanu is asked what sort of girls he likes.

"Oh gosh, what sort of girls do I like? They're all angels," he replied.

He then went on to do some kind of weird howl after confirming that he was single, but that's besides the point.

Comments on the video were full of love for Keanu.

One person said: "OHMIGOD HE'S THE SWEETEST MAN I WANT TO CRY."

Another commented: "He was always so sweet and humble and he's not changed. What a wonderful thing to see."

A third added: "He's always been such a gentleman."

The 56-year-old has been praised in the past for his respectful treatment of female fans.

Photographs were shared on social media of Keanu standing alongside female fans and co-stars, and at first glance, nothing seems out of the ordinary.

But on closer inspection, you can see that he never touches any of the women in pictures; he hovers.

Sharing a group of photos of the actor, one cynical fan wrote: "Lol Keanu ain't taking no chances."

The tweet vent viral, attracting thousands of comments - most of which were from people backing his decision to keep his hands to himself.

Retweeting the post, one fan disagreed with the original post. Lauding Reeves, they said: "It's not about not taking chances, it's about being considerate and respectful, qualities that Keanu carries in spades."

A second wrote: "He's respectful. This should be how it's done unless ya know the woman doesn't mind being touched. Keanu should inspire us all."

A third person put: "He's being respectful and I'm here for it!!"

Another joked that there might be something more powerful afoot in the photos. They said: "Keanu has the amazing power to make you feel hugged without ever having touched you."

It seems - like all girls - Keanu is indeed an angel.
