AI has put Snoop Dogg into classic TV shows and it's incredible

At least when AI kills us all we'll have funny pictures of Snoop Dogg to look at in our final moments

Spider-Man's dead uncle once said 'with great power comes great responsibility' and it's times like this that you know the human race really took his lesson to heart.

Artificial intelligence is taking off in all sorts of ways and people are getting the chance to use some of these new tools for themselves.

While there's been some foolish misuse along the way, like ChatGPT giving someone advice on how to smuggle cocaine or that fake picture of the Pope which did the rounds recently, it's nice to know that as a species we've got our priorities right.

I am of course talking about people using AI to see what it would look like if Snoop Dogg was cast in a whole load of iconic TV series, because if the internet wasn't made for this, then what are we even doing?

This one says Breaking Bad but I'm getting more of a Yellowstone vibe from it.

The results are so incredible to look at that you would definitely think this is what Snoop Dogg would look like if he had actually been on that show.

All in all, the outcomes were a bit varied as some of them looked pretty damn good, the rapper looks very distinguished in a nice coat and a hat, while others were more than a little bit cursed.

Seeing AI plonk Snoop Dogg right into the middle of The Golden Girls without first removing his moustache is enough to remind you that these fancy new tools could do with a bit of human judgment.

Snoop Dogg is looking suave in that suit, maybe someone should offer to make him a TV detective after all?

People recently reversed engineered this with The Simpsons, so rather than putting a real person in the show, they created images of what the characters would look like as real people.

Some of them look pretty spot on, but Mr Burns just appears to be terrifyingly creepy... so actually, still spot on.

Of course, the ability to take something real and morph it into something else with AI can be a bit scary, and there are plenty who are worried about the way technology could be used to disrupt people's perceptions of what's real and what isn't.

While people are using AI for ingenious things like appealing a parking fine, the sudden explosion in tools people can use to mimic another human's face and even voice is cause for concern.

Plenty of AI experts have launched an appeal to pump the brakes on AI development over fears of the dangers it might cause.

Perhaps we were so preoccupied with whether or not we could that we didn't stop to think if we should.

As for what Mr Dogg himself is up to these days, he apparently wants to cut down on the amount of cannabis he smokes - which sounds like bad news for the person he hired to be his professional blunt roller.

He wants to do this now his grandkids are growing up, as he'd like to enjoy weed in a little more moderation in the hopes of living as long as possible, so he gets to see as much of them as he can.

Snoop Dogg would also like to perform at King Charles III's upcoming coronation, having said he'd be really interested in the gig - so Buckingham Palace know who to call if they're still trying to sort out some entertainment.

On top of the coronation, the legendary rapper would also love to have some sort of role on Coronation Street because he loves the show so much.
