Netflix's Money Heist Will End With Fifth And Final Season
Fans will get to enjoy one last instalment of the drama and creator Álex Pina said it will go out with a bang, with 'the most epic part of all the parts we've shot'.
He said: "We've spent almost a year thinking about how to break up the band. How to put the Professor on the ropes. How to get into situations that are irreversible for many characters. The result is the fifth part of La Casa de Papel (Money Heist).
"The war reaches its most extreme and savage levels, but it is also the most epic and exciting season."
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, he continued: "We are moving from a chess game - a mere intellectual strategy - to a war strategy: attack and contention.
"We always try that our opponents be charismatic, intelligent, shiny. In this case, in pure war film genre, we also look for characters whose intelligence can measure up against The Professor's.
"Adrenaline is within Money Heist's DNA. Every thirty seconds things take place and disrupt the characters, a turn of the screw to the action. The adrenaline mixed with feelings arising from absolutely complex, magnetic, unforeseeable characters will continue until the end of the heist to the Bank of Spain.
"However, the gang will now be pushed into irreversible situations, into a wild war: it is the most epic part of all the parts we've shot."

The Spanish series has proven to be a huge hit for Netflix and is the most popular non-English series on the streaming service, with season four watched by 65 million different accounts within four weeks of its release in April.
Pina - who also created Netflix series White Lines - said he thinks the show's success is owed to the universal and diverse range of themes it covers.
He said: "It is action and feeling, it is black comedy and drama, romance and pathos."
The final season will consist of 10 episodes and will start production on Monday (3 August).
But while it may be the last we see of Money Heist, Pina has previously said there are 'many possibilities for spin-offs.
Speaking to The Oprah Magazine, he said: "We do have many possibilities for some spin-offs, yes, and I think that's thanks to the strong and powerful identities of the characters.
"We've always looked for characters to have a very complex, layered design. So I think almost every character of Money Heist has a duality that we would like to see in a spin-off. We could watch any of them in other contexts."
