Olympian Alica Schmidt has been dubbed the 'sexiest athlete in the world', but it's a tag she just doesn't quite get.
The 22-year-old, who will be representing Germany at the Toyko 2020 Olympics, has said that her 'focus is on sport' .
The track and field star who grew up in Worms, west Germany, has previously said she takes the title with a pinch of salt.

When she was named the 'Sexiest Athlete in the World' by Australian magazine Busted Coverage, Alica said: "I do not know why I got this title. Sport comes clearly first.
"There are thousands of girls on Instagram who look good and still do not have as many fans."
Alica, who is sponsored by Puma, even turned down an offer from Playboy magazine, reportedly to focus on training for the upcoming Olympics.

When asked by Puma what it means to be 'great' the humble athlete responded: "To me it means being kind and being humble.
"Cherish other people's success instead of being jealous of what they have accomplished. Your values, beliefs and expectations form your attitude. Bring on everything ahead and set your standards high."
According to the Mirror, Alica got her break at the 2017 European Athletics U20 Championships where she helped Germany take silver in the 4x400m relay.

Following this, she progressed to the under 23 side in the same competition two years later, where Germany came third.
The Tokyo Olympics officially kicked off yesterday (23 July) with a touching ceremony at the Olympic Stadium.
The crowning moment of any opening ceremony is usually the lighting of the torch and so it proved again in Tokyo.

Former Japan athletes and para-athletes passed the flame around the stadium until tennis star Naomi Osaka took it on the final journey.
The sphere opened like a flower - to embody vitality and hope according to the official description - before Osaka lit it to officially start the Games after the traditional long procession of the teams, speeches and fireworks.
