Organising a wedding can be a tough job.

There are so many things to worry about: the seating plan, the menu, how the night flows, making sure your uncle doesn't get up and make an impromptu speech after a few too many whiskeys...the list goes on.

That's why loads of people get wedding planners to take away all that decision making and they do a really good job.

But what if you had some weird fantasy of having your nuptials be all about love, adoration, commitment and KFC chicken?

KFC Australia

Well KFC Australia has announced it wants to organise weddings for six lucky couples.

"If you can't think of anything more romantic than sharing a bucket of the Colonel's finest with your one true love, then get ready to say Bucket. Why not? to a KFC Wedding," the company says.

"This once in a lifetime KFC experience comes complete with freshly cooked Kentucky Fried Chicken, decorations, a KFC themed celebrant and a photo booth to help capture all those finger lickin' good memories."

They're looking for couples who are already engaged and looking to get officially hitched before May next year.

You have until October 18 to enter and then the weddings will kick off from November to May 2020.

"We're looking for engaged couples who are ready to say 'I do' over a bucket of the Colonel's finest," the company continues.

"The couples must be Australian residents who are both over the age of 18. We'll be going through hundreds of entries and judging entries on their originality, creative merit and independent expression.

"We'll be catering for up to 200 guests at each wedding.

"KFC Weddings is our response to all the couples we've heard of who have popped the question in one of our restaurants or who have created their own version of a KFC Wedding. We've seen everything from KFC banquets to chicken bouquets.

"And with so many people wanting us to be part of their big day we just had to create KFC Weddings as a service for all couples ready to tie the knot."

No doubt there will be loads of people who will be climbing over each other to get some KFC at their wedding for free so you better come up with something bloody incredible to catch their eye.

You won't have to be locked into having the ceremony or reception at a KFC store either.
