McDonald's Launches 'Big Brekkie Burger' And It Looks Incredible

Breakfast and burgers don’t always seem like a natural combo, but this is probably an exception

In a bleak post-apocalyptic world in which it has become literally impossible to get hold of a KFC Boneless Banquet in the UK, people over here are getting antsy for their fast food.

Now it seems as if the rest of the world is laughing at Britain - mocking their lack of Zinger Tower Burgers by releasing some new stuff to make everyone super jealous.

Specifically, McDonald's Australia and their new Big Brekkie Burger.

Good lord. Look at it.

McDonald's

According to McDonald's Australia: "It starts with a warm, crisp hash brown sandwiched between melting cheese, rasher bacon and a freshly cracked egg.

"Finished with a 100% Aussie beef patty and a generous dollop of BBQ sauce in between a toasted sesame seed bun."

Obviously, you can't get this if you're in the UK, but if you're in Australia then get down there and get stuck in.

It's only available in selected restaurants across the merry old Land of Oz and it goes without saying that you can only get it until 10:30 each morning.

It's a whole breakfast on a bun: bacon, eggs, cheese, hash browns, and then of course there is the burger - not a traditional breakfast favourite, but whatever.

Needless to say, some people have gone mad for it on Twitter, one wrote: "McDonald's are absolutely on fire at the moment the big brekkie burger looks unbelievable"

Another said: "Actually just dribbled"

It looks pretty nice, but try to keep control of your bodily functions people.

Unfortunately not everyone is as pleased. One person on social media said: "Trust me to become veggie right before McDonald's bring out the 'Big Brekkie Burger'"

If you want to get a piece of the action, it'll set you back about $6.75 for the sandwich on its own, or if you want to make a meal out of it you can get it with a hash brown and a coffee for $11.05.

You'll have to go to the McDonald's Australia website to find out if your local restaurant is going to have it on the menu.

If you're in the UK your best hope is probably to either start an online campaign to McDonald's to get it over here - it worked for the Rick and Morty fans who wanted Szechuan Sauce back - or to buy a Big Mac, a McBacon Roll, and some hash browns and get creative.

Or move to Australia.
